Tales of the Jedi Episode 6 Review, Resolve

Hi everyone today I'm going to give you my review of episode 6 of Tales of the Jedi. Please be advised spoilers ahead.

This episode opens on the planet Naboo were we see the funeral of Padme. This is during the time of the movie The Revenge of the Sith. We see Bail Organa and Mon Mothma among the crowds. Bail looks around the crowd and suddenly sees Ahsoka in the distance. Ahoska leaves and Bail follows her. He tells her that she should not be there, she said that Padme was her friend.

In the distance we hear clone troopers and Bail moves Ahoska away and hands her a communicator that if she ever needs to contact him he will be there. She leaves and we find her walking towards Rex next to the river with his fighter. They both leave Naboo.

We then time jump and we see her on what I would assume to be the planet Raada. This part of the story would be a shorten story of the Ahsoka novel with some changes to it. Ahsoka who is now named Ashla is working in the fields collecting bails, along with some others. One of the transports is over full and topples over nearly crushing a young teenager with the bails but is rescued by Ahsoka who uses the force to protect her although secretly but the young girl manages to see her.

Ahsoka eats alone and is called over by the young woman to eat with them. The others are discussing the empire and the quantities they have to give them and how difficult it is to accomplish. The young man seems to be very pro-empire compared to the older generation there who remember the republican days.

At night the young woman tells Ahsoka that they have to take the harvest to Mon-Hella the next day. The woman tells Ahsoka that she knows she is a Jedi but won't tell anyone. Ahsoka is seen by the young womans brother. The next day they both head off to Mon-Hella

When they both return to the village they see the village in flames. We see that the young man has betrayed Ahsoka to the empire. An inquisitor is there and is interrogating the boy among the flames and says that he claimed there was a Jedi there but yet he finds no one there. The young boy says she will arrive and expects to be rewarded for bringing her in. The Inquisitor said he lied to him and expected Imperial favor?

Ahsoka appears and says that he was not lying. The inquisitor attempts to kill the young man but Ahoska uses the force and pulls the young man out of the way of the Inquisitors lightsaber.

The inquisitor realizes who it is and says that she was suppose to be dead. It looks like he will be rewarded. She dodges his blades and then grabs hold of his lightsaber and it is deactivated and rips it from his hands and re-activates it and strikes him down with it.

The young woman confronts her brother and tells him to look at what he had done as the village around them in flames. He apologizes for what he had done. It makes me wonder though as to how many people were killed because of him in the village.

Ahsoka says that they will need to leave the planet as more will come. She contacts Bail Organa who arrives with his ship and takes them aboard. Bail tells Ahsoka that things have gotten worse and asks if she is sure she is ready to get back into the fight. She nods.

In this shortened story as I mentioned already is a shortened part of the Novel Ahsoka. I would recommend reading the book as it is excellent and obviously gives a greater story arch. In the book itself we she that there are two inquisitors not one as we have seen here. In the book we also see how Ahsoka gets the crystals for her two lightsabers. After this story we won't see Ahsoka again until Star Wars Rebels.
