Tales of the Jedi Episode 5 Review Practice Makes Perfect

Hi everyone today I'm going to give you my review of episode 5 of Tales of the Jedi. Please be advised spoilers ahead.

The story opens in the Jedi Temple were we see Anakin Skywalker run to see Ahsoka lightsaber Dueling with training remotes. In this episode we see young Kanan getting excited at seeing the Duel. It seems strange to me to see him there and yet when in Star Wars Rebels he didn't seem to know her.

Anakin doesn't think what she was doing was a real test and decided to give her a real test which she was eager to prove.

She trains with some clone troopers in the test. She moves in the centre as they encircle her. Anakin tell her that droids are predictable, he wants her to be prepared for anything. To feel the intentions of the trooper who will fire first. She gets stunned multiple times and practices for hours.

Ahsoka gets frustrated & tells Anakin that the droids weren't half as good as Rex's men. In which Anakin response with that's the point. Anakin further says he wants it to be difficult, it was about life & death. As master he was responsible for her and if she can hold off Rex & the boys she'll be ready for anything on the battlefield.

She practices more and eventually gets better. We then time jump to the end of Season 7 of the Clone Wars TV series in the final episode were we see her being confronted by the clones and the hanger bay just after Order 66 is given by the Emperor. This I had to say was heart breaking yet again to see what has been a band of brothers suddenly turning on her for being a Jedi. Let me know what you think in the comments below.

I agree it would be great to see a live action Clone Wars series but I think Temuera Morrison will have his work cut out for him playing multiple parts 😁

I agree. While I was glad to see Kanaan, it is quite satisfying to see the payoff of this episode of TOTJ in Shattered: The Series Finale of The Clone Wars. I hope they make a Live Action Clone Wars series.
