Star Trek Coda Book 3 Review

This is my review of the final book and the Star Trek Coda Trilogy. It's sad that the book series is at an end as this trilogy has been a fun ride and exciting ride to say the least. The story-line for this book is a bit complex and is in three basic timelines.

We see in this book that they are all living in an unstable timeline. We see in this book the that Captain Picard, Sisko and all those aboard the Defiant arrive in the Mirror universe and ask for their help.

The main characters need to travel to three different locations in space-time and launch a coordinated attack to collapse the Devidians’ ability to absorb the death energies of the universes they are devouring. There’s a ticking clock, and formidable obstacles, and the need for our people to fight to the bitter end, make hard choices, and ultimately give their lives for the greater good.

The three different locations they have to go to would be one were the Borg have taken over the earth in the 21st Century just before the Enterprise E arrives at the beginning of Star Trek First Contact, where Sisko, Bashir, Worf, Mirror Universe K’ehleyr, Data and Lal are their on their mission to stop the Devidians. The second location is in the Mirror Universe where Vedik Kira has to enter the Bajorian Wormhole with the Orb of time, with the help of Dax. The Third location is inside a Black hole in a place called Intertime. While all this is happening we see Admiral Riker determined to find and capture Picard, while the entire universe around him collapses.

In this final book of the series we see many of the characters we have loved for 55 years at their finest hour–making the ultimate sacrifice. I won't go into any further detail but I think you will enjoy this final outing in the series. It is fast paced and action packed. We get a further look at some of the history of the mirror universe after the events of Deep Space nine. overall I give this book a 9/10 a good conclusion. If you have read the books please let me know in the comments below what you think of them.
